Two caryatids unearthed by archaeologists in Ancient Amphipolis

Two caryatids (sculpted female figures) of exceptional artistic value were unearthed on Saturday during excavations by archaeologists in Ancient Amphipolis Kasta tomb, northern Greece, it was announced on Sunday, with specialists noting that the new findings further support the view that the monument is of major importance.

Hospital doctors union threatens legal action

The hospital doctors' national union federation OENGE on Wednesday sent a solicitor's letter to the finance ministry's leadership, warning that it is considering legal action against the ministry over its failure to execute a Council of State ruling relating to a library benefit paid to doctors.
