Piraeus Port, Cosco to sign new agreement‏

Piraeus Port Organization and SEP (Cosco) are expected to sign a new revised friendly settlement plan agreement later this afternoon on Thursday. The plan, approved by Piraeus Port's shareholders, envisages investment plans worth 230 million euros in the port.

Vodafone Greece completes aquisition of HOL‏

Vodafone Greece on Tuesday completed the acquisition of Hellas online with the transfer of a 72.7 pct of HOL’s shares owned by Intracom Holdings and World Equities Investment Holding SA through a block trade in the Athens Stock Exchange.

Fourlis Group reports increase in in nine-month sales

Fourlis Group on Tuesday said its sales rose to 295.6 million euros in the January-September period, from 288.6 million in the same period last year, while EBITDA totalled 14.3 million euros, slightly up from 14.2 million euros in 2013.

Korinth Pipeworks says turnover up, earnings down in Jan-Sept‏

Korinth Pipeworks on Tuesday said its consolidated turnover totalled 126.9 million euros in the January-September period, from 123 million euros in the same period last year, for an increase of 3.2 pct. Consolidated gross earnings fell 27.3 pct to 14.6 million euros while EBITDA dropped to 1.2 million euros in the nine-month period, from 4.6 million euros last year.

Kolonaki still struggling with crisis

The chic Kolonaki district, the traditional 'Mecca' for shoppers in downtown Athens, is still among the districts that are struggling with Greece's economic crisis, according to a survey of shop closures by area unveiled on Monday by the Institute of Commerce and Services (ICS) of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (HCCE).
